Manipal College of Medical Sciences (MCOMS), Pokhara, proposes to commence Master of Science in Medical Microbiology (MSc Med Microbiology). Manipal College of Medical Sciences has all the basic science and clinical laboratories facilities required for conduct of MSc – Medical Microbiology. Earlier, MSc courses in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Microbiology and Pharmacology have already been successfully conducted at Manipal College of Medical Sciences. Manipal Teaching Hospital, Pokhara, (A tertiary care hospital), the teaching Hospital of Manipal College of Medical Sciences has fully furnished, well equipped Laboratories to meet the requirement of MSc – Medical Microbiology.
Objective To produce trained graduates who can analyze and evaluate various national level disease control program and other related programs which has strategic importance in fighting with the disease.
The program’s curriculum provides students with a strong theoretical and practical grasp of the topic, preparing them for a career in clinical sciences or academic and industrial research. The detailed curriculum of the program is issued by School of Medical Sciences, Kathmandu University.
The teaching methodology involves lectures, sample processing, analyze and investigations, presentation and thesis submission.
