- Over 18 years of comprehensive experience in the field of Psychiatry following MD certification.
- Engaged proactively in all academic activities related to the MBBS program.
- Engaged in a variety of postgraduate activities at Kathmandu University since 2008 AD, including roles as Preceptor, Thesis Writer, Thesis Evaluator, Paper Setter, and Practical Examiner. Also, successfully guided ten MD students and currently guiding six MD students as a dedicated Preceptor.
- A Ph.D. Thesis Examiner and Ph. D. Subject Matter Expert.
- Successfully published a total of 35 research articles in the indexed journals.
- Conducted peer reviews for numerous articles published in indexed journals.
- Honored with the prestigious Chitra Pahari Scientific Award by the Nepal Medical Association Medical Trust in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the medical field at the 21st All Nepal Medical Conference.
- Contributed in the development of the Psychiatry Curriculum for Gandaki University, Nepal as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Served as a member of the KU MBBS Subject Committee from 2019 to 2022 AD.
- One of the articles among his 35 published researched article is cited as a reference article in the esteemed International Textbook “Principle and Practice of Geriatric Psychiatry”, published by Wiley-Blackwell Publisher, London, UK.
- Held significant leadership roles as Chairperson and Member of various committees, including the Sri Lankan Medical Council Recognition, Self-Assessment of Minimum Service Standards, and Examination Committees. Additionally, serves as Officiating Principal and Officiating Hospital Director at MCOMS/MTH.
- Chaired, presented, and participated in numerous national and international conferences, seminars, continuing medical education (CME) events, workshops, and webinars. Notably, participated in a workshop on Access to Health Research and Evidence-Based Practice, jointly organized by The University of Sheffield, Bournemouth University, and the University of Aberdeen (UK), along with the Central Department of Population Studies at Tribhuvan University (Nepal).
